Set designer is looking for ambitious unpaid intern and paid assistant/s for high end fashion print shoots. Typically sporadic schedule (not a normal 9-5/ 5 days a week type job). Attitude, personality, appearance, and familiarity with fashion very important. A calm, understated demeanor is good as this work can be stressful. Must be willing to work hard, long hours. You should have a flexible schedule- this is not a full time position, but when it's busy it can be non-stop.
Looking for 2 kinds of skill sets:

1. Production- Someone with good phone, organizational skills, and computer skills (Excel, Word, photoshop are good) who would assist in research, finding and ordering props and supplies, and general prepping of shoots.

2. On set propping and set dressing- someone with art, fashion, or interior design background for on-set work. Should be familiar with equipment like grip stands, hand tools, etc. a Drivers license, painting skills, and basic carpentry also helpful. Also interested in experienced set dressers and will pay accordingly.
This is a good opportunity for someone interested in getting into the fashion world. If this is just about money for you, then this is the wrong place. Watch "The Devil Wears Prada" and if that scares you-
don't bother.

Send an email detailing who you are, basic personal history, and skill set. A resume is good, but not required. Pay is contingent upon experience and skill level."
